[German]Gamers are suffering under a frame drops bug in games since Windows 10 Creators Update (Version 1703). The frame rate (fps) falls from 60 fps down to 10.

A thread in Geforce forum discusses this issue and provides some tips for fixes (that doesn’t seems to help). I found also some discussions here, at reddit.com and at MS Answers here, here, and here for instance.

Microsoft’s support engineer Paul Aron has posted here at Microsoft Answers forum a feedback on July 10, 2017 asking for traces to analyze the issue. Paul cam back on August 26, 2017 here with the following message:

Thanks to all of you who provided feedback and submitted traces via the Feedback app.  We’ve been reviewing the traces and have identified an issue that we believe is the cause of stuttering in some of the cases that you’ve reported.  We have a fix in the Windows Insider build that flighted to the “Fast” ring this week (build 16273 and above).  If you are already an Insider please test it with any app or game you’re having this problem with and let us know how it goes.

An Insider Preview tester reported back, that the new build improves the situation, but it could not be the final fix – he still observed issues.

MS Power User stumbled upon this reddit.com thread and reported here, that Microsoft has given a feedback on Windows 10 Feedback-Hub (see screenshot above):

“Thank you everyone for providing feedback and submitting traces. We have been analyzing the traces from your feedback and have identified several different problem sources surfacing as stutter in games. We have a fix for one of them in the Windows Insider build that flighted to the “Fast” ring (build 16273 and above). We are actively investigating the remaining stutter causes and appreciate your patience on this issue.”

So let’s see, whether they are successful with identifying and fixing this frame drops issue in Windows 10.
